National BDPA Announces the Passing of Earl A. Pace, Jr. — Black Data Processing Associates Co-Founder and BETF Chairman

Today, the tech world, BDPA Members, Student Alumni, and Industry react to the devastating loss of Earl A. Pace, Jr., one of the Tech Community’s iconic tech industry patriarchs, CompTIA Hall of Famer, and Black Data Processing Associates Co-Founder. Dates and times of memorial services will formally be announced to BDPA Members and Industry.

It is with a heavy heart that I send this message regarding the passing of Mr. Earl Pace, Jr.

Mr. Pace passed away February 19th, 2022 around 6 am.

In addition to being the co-founder of our BDPA, Mr. Pace was an exceptional mentor to countless individuals, a successful businessman, computer scientist, and activist.

The Pace family is safe and together at their home in Maryland. Please pray for their strength and comfort during this challenging time.
