Leadership

BDPA is governed by National By-Laws which are ratified by its membership. The National Board of Directors provides a National Executive Committee (NEC) to oversee the programs and services of the organization. The NEC is comprised of two elected positions, seven officially appointed positions, and led by the National President.

National Board of Directors

The National BDPA Board of Directors is designed to facilitate effective communication and action among its chapters across the nation. The board serves as the governing body of the organization with administrative channels through which information from the National Executive Board and National Headquarters disseminates direction. The chapters’ executive boards are modeled after the national board, which provides direction to their chapters and assist in coordinating chapter activities.

Chapters

BDPA chapters, located across the U.S., are the center of the organization's activities. Chapter membership provides the creative and programmatic thrust which directs the entire organization. Leadership Enhancements

BDPA's strength is to develop leaders at every level who are accountable for achieving business results in a non-profit environment. The marketable skills obtained by the leadership experiences propel BDPA members in the competitive marketplace. Leader opportunities are available through the many board and business area positions available at the chapter and national levels.
